Smart Home Security Melbourne
Your cameras see more than you think.
Most camera systems record what happened. Ours tell you what's happening — and what it means. With Frigate and Home Assistant, your cameras understand context: a person versus a car, your property boundary versus the footpath, a person in your front yard versus someone walking past on the street.
What your home can notice for you
Bins still in the driveway.
The camera checks whether your bins are out the evening before collection — and sends you a reminder if they're not.
Washing left on the line.
A glance at the backyard camera detects whether clothes are still hanging when the sun goes down — before the dew sets in.
Person inside the boundary.
When the alarm is armed, you're alerted only when someone enters your property zone — not every car that drives past.
Cameras that actually understand what they see.
We deploy Frigate — an AI-powered camera layer — on top of Home Assistant. It supports a wide range of cameras and can detect people, vehicles, animals, and custom objects. You define the zones that matter: your front yard, driveway, or back gate. Alerts fire when something meaningful happens inside them, not every time a shadow moves.
Security goes beyond cameras too. We integrate existing alarm systems, door and window sensors, and motion detectors — all tied into the same dashboard. We monitor camera uptime so you know if one goes offline, and can add an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to keep your system running through a power cut.
Getting started is straightforward. We begin with a free 15-minute call to understand your security needs and what's already in place. If you'd like to go further, we arrange an onsite visit ($120) — credited toward your project if you go ahead. For smaller jobs, we also offer a flat rate of $110 per hour plus a travel fee from $20 depending on location.
