Home Networking Melbourne
Everything in your home runs over the network. So it has to be built right.
Most homes have a router plugged into the wall and Wi-Fi that sort of works most of the time. But when cameras need to record reliably, smart devices need to respond instantly, and your household needs to stay secure — you need a network that was designed, not just cobbled together.
What a properly built network makes possible
Every recording. No dropouts.
Wi-Fi cameras lose signal and miss the moments that matter. We run ethernet to every camera — powered by PoE — so they record continuously and reliably, regardless of what else is happening on the network.
Guests connect. Your network stays yours.
We set up separate Wi-Fi networks for guests, kids' devices, and smart home gear. Visitors get internet access; your main devices, files, and cameras stay completely isolated.
The automations were fine. The network wasn't.
When automations break and devices go offline for no obvious reason, the culprit is almost always the network. A properly structured home network is the foundation every smart device depends on.
Professional-grade gear, installed the right way.
We build home networks using UniFi hardware — access points, managed switches, and their Cloud Gateway router. Everything is configured and managed from a single dashboard, with your networks properly segmented: main devices, IoT gear, and guests all on separate VLANs.
Every camera and access point gets its own ethernet run, powered over PoE from a central switch. No Wi-Fi extenders, no powerline adapters — just a clean, reliable backbone that your whole home runs through.
